This picture is a lie

I took this picture with the best of intentions — having finished Pokemon Legends: Z-A, I did the two additional quests to get the three legendary Pokemon first seen in X/Y — Zygarde, Xerneas, and Yveltal. And I thought I was done, I made this picture with all of the legendaries (as well as some other team members), posted it on the socials, and put the game aside.

OR DID I?

There were still unanswered questions, still a legendary to find. Two, actually.

Diancie came from a mystery gift quest, and so I got her.

But Floette, the same Floette that nearly destroyed Luminose — twice. What happened to her?

The answer to that question required spending many game nights doing the Infinite Pokemon Battles until I had challenged fifteen of the best trainers in the city, ending with my rival, who had inherited Mega Floette when AZ passed.

With him defeated, a lot of plot threads got answered. At the end, I had Floette, and also Diancie, Zygarde, Xerneas and the versatile Yveltal.

And so I made a new cast photo. It should be good for a few more weeks… when the DLC drops.

I really wasn’t going to keep playing past the credits, but I can’t help it. I like playing the Pokemon games, and this one ended just a little before I wanted to stop playing. Final time to do all the grinding and fighting is just shy of 50 hours.
