I thought I could be super clever and just export my Steam Next spreadsheet into HTML and dump that into WordPress and it would work.
It did not.
Then I thought, hey, what if I took that HTML and piped it through a HTML to Markdown converter and then used Wordland's Markdown mode to post it?
That also did not work as I'd hoped.
I guess I'll have to do it by hand like a barbarian. Later.
It's just a lot of work and I am soooooooo lazy….
If you look at my post today (or any post from the EVE Monthly Economic Report for the past few years) you’ll see tables that I just copied from Excel and pasted into the WP editor. (Technically, exported from PowerBI to .csv and then opened, formatted, then copied from Excel.) That seems to mostly work. It isn’t pretty, but it does give you a data table option.
Hmm well I am on Linux and so Excel isn’t an option (on this Raspberry Pi, anyway), but there does seem to be a way to either embed or import data from Google Sheets… I might give that a shot after work.
