I've been closely watching the release of Blue Resonance: Star Protocol, an _isekai_-MMO where your character lands in a fantasy waifu world where you have to… I dunno, I didn't get very far. Make some money to pay off your personal waifu companion, who claims to have saved your life and bought you some new clothes, as one does.
Since in none of the screenshots I'd seen did I see a male player character, I had to wonder — does the game actually support male characters, or is the player just transported to a world of young negligee models? I think that was a movie from the 50s, right?
Anyway: yes, you can make a male character. Trapper John staggered his way out of the inn where he found himself after some space mission gone wrong to find that every player character he saw… was a young, scantily clad anime girl.
Not a MMO for me. My tolerance for waifu games is pretty non-existent.
